Good to know
Do I have to be vegan to use Vego?
No. Vego works for vegan, vegetarian and pescatarian profiles, and for people who are just cutting back. Pick your profile in the quiz and every recipe, list and menu verdict follows it.
Is Vego free?
Vego is free to try. After that it's a subscription billed through your Apple account, which you can cancel anytime from your iPhone settings. Plans and prices are shown in the app before you buy.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Vego is built for iPhone and uses iOS features like the share sheet and Live Activities. We'd love to hear from you if you'd want it on Android: [email protected].
Where do the recipes come from?
Vego writes them, using AI, from your preferences, budget and kitchen. When you share a link, it reads the original post and produces a plant-based version for your personal use. Recipes are generated automatically and can contain mistakes — always check allergens on the packaging or with the restaurant.
Can I share a list with my partner or roommate?
Yes — with one other person. Give them your invite code and you both see the same lists, who checked what, and the shopping progress live on the lock screen. Your taste profile, recipes and scans stay private.
